Year of adventure

This is to help my family and friends keep tabs on me while I begin a new chapter of my life. Others may want to join in and are welcomed to do so.

September 28th I will be moving from Portland Oregon to The Hague in the Netherlands to start a new job with the International court Tribunal of the former Yugoslavia. I will be one of seven audio/video directors responsible for recording the war trials. I have visited the Netherlands before and fell in love with this cheese making, clog wearing country. I'm very excited to get the chance to actually live there for a brief time. Through my blog I'm hoping to share my experiences with family and friends.

As a newly divorced fortyseven year old woman of three grown children and one grandchild. I also hope to help other women who may find themselves starting a new life after several years of marriage. Yes there is life after divorce and it can be fulfilling, even the best years of your life.
